Welcome to the Big Show
As a former journalist (or at lease one that's in another line of work), and a person highly involved in politics (which is partly why I'm not an active journalist), I used to hold my nose at the idea of blogs and bloggers.
These days, though, even the "mainstream" media seem to be getting all their scoops from bloggers. Not only that, bloggers seem willing to cover stories the "mainstream" media won't touch.
That said, this will be my entry into this Wild West style of communication. Stay tuned.
Between now and whenever I post again, a parting thought: the "Liberal" media are only as "Liberal" as the conservative businessmen that own them.
